Baby on the way!

IT'S A GIRL!!! We have known this for a while, we are just lame and never blog. My due date is April 8th, and I don't think it could come soon enough! Baby is getting big enough to make for some uncomfortable moments. :)

Here are some updated pictures of what's happening in our life. They are sort of backwards, but oh well.

We are expecting!!

Just thought we should fill everyone in on the news... Our first baby is on the way!!

The due date is April 8th, and Lacey is 14 weeks along now. There is a little baby bump starting to form - but hard to see any changes at this point!

Here is a picture of the baby at 13 weeks from our last appointment. The doctor had a couple of things to say about the baby.

First: that "you're baby is SOOOO ACTIVE!!! You're gonna have your hands full with this one!"

Second: (while measuring the baby) "Your baby is SOOO LONG!!" - If you know anything about our families, especially Lacey's side, this is not surprising. (Lacey is the shortest, and she's 5'10!)

So between the two comments by the doctor, Dustin is hoping they'll have a basketball player for their first! We'll see....

I thought I would take the opportunity to create a new post for our blog on Lacey's behalf. I am making the post, because I wanted to brag a little bit about Lacey's college graduation! Lacey graduated from Weber State University's Interior Design Program.

I am so proud of her and her accomplishments over the course of her studies and let me tell you what - it has been no easy road!! Anyone in the Interior Design program at Weber State can tell you that it is a highly competitive and rigorous road to travel. The degree encompasses a wide variety of learning, including both residential and commercial design.

I wish we had pictures of all of the late nights we spent on countless projects (Lacey did all of the work, I was just her little assistant - cutting out design materials and the like...) - yes those would have really showed Lacey's dedication to her schooling. Since we don't have any of those.... I thought I'd post a few of the big celebration day on May 1st 2009. Here are a few of the photos from the Graduation ceremony and the after party.

Enjoy!

Since we haven't posted for a while... here is our 2008 in review!

To all of our friends who think we are bad bloggers... HERE YOU GO!!! This is all for you. We had a great year together that went by so quick, that we barely had time to... well for one thing, Blog.

Lacey is busy with school at Weber State University, finishing her Bachelor's degree in Interior Design. The Interior Design department has recently received a special accreditation for their four year program. Lacey was an integral part in getting this accreditation passed through CIDA, which is the Council for Interior Design Accreditation. Needless to say, this has been keeping her very busy along with working at RnR carpet center (And taking care of Dustin and LaLa.)

Dustin decided to take on a new career path this year, switching from sales to computer programming. WHAT!, you might say! Long story short, Dustin wasn't happy with his sales job and has always been interested in technology. (Yes I love technology, but not as much as you, you see... always and forever.) - As Dustin would say. I guess we both decided that you might as well make the change while we are still sort of young, and do something that you really enjoy.

Our little neighborhood here in Ogden has been a really great place to live. There are so many fun people here, and it has been great to get to know everybody. We remodeled our Town Home, even though it was only four years old. (Designer habits) I think we only have a few more projects to go! (poor Dustin) Dustin really likes the outdoor scene here in Ogden, and has picked up a new sport; Road Biking. (What a STUD!) He is hoping to train for either the Tour de Park City relay or LOTOJA relay, or maybe both depending on how much he trains. We promise to keep this updated more often. But when you haven't added anything for 8 months, that's not hard to do, right? But seriously, we hope you visit our blog as often as we do yours!
Have a great New Year!
